House-keeping

Well I have donned a frilly apron and French maid's outfit (as a Labour MP once suggested I should) and done some housekeeping on the blog and I am left feeling dirty and old. Dirty because of the dust and cobwebs everywhere, and old because I went through my blogroll and two-thirds of my friends had given up blogging. So I have been ruthless and pressed delete but I miss them. Do people even have blogrolls anymore? With all this "following" and RSS feeds, there doesn't seem much point. Anyway I like a nice blogroll - it reminds me of Arctic roll and sausage roll and rolls in the hay, so I am keeping it. If I have deleted you prematurely, feel free to come back to me. I will accept most excuses - the dog ate my blog being my personal favorite.

I love a good sort and clear out.

Did the same with my twitter account to see who hasn't tweeted in a long long time, but still feel guilty when I've deleted them.

I'm glad you're back! I started reading you just around the time you got busy with your book - I entertained myself initially with going through and reading all of your previous posts, and put you in my Google Reader as well - what a nice surprise to have you pop up again in my reader after all this time!

Well, house keeping is not a problem to me. Home cleaning in Perth is my trusted partner in our home and office cleaning maintenance. I would not bother myself doing this task ever.

I prefer calling a commercial cleaner Perth than to clean my house on my own because I am a very buys person. I am glad that you are back on track because you are not the only one who experience this. I have my own blog too and just like you, I experience that feeling too especially if some of my friends stops blogging.

Housekeeping, my favorite activity of the week (insert sarcasm here). Oh well, I guess I have to get going because I want to scrub those filthy bathroom tiles and floors.

I am glad to see you back in action. Cleaning an can be exhausting but sometimes it can bring relief after it is done.

I never missed doing chores every Sunday. I prefer doing a major house cleaning every week rather than every month. It is easier to clean and maintain cleanliness if we do it every week. Stains or dust are harder to remove if we let it sit for a month.

I was never too busy to keep the house clean, but I just can't help but call the chimney cleaners. It's like the hardest part to clean in our house. Glad to read blogs from you again, after my dogs ate my last computer set. No more excuses.

Good to read from you again! I'm also having a hard time keeping the house clean because I seem to have too much furniture. That's why they lose shine and look old after a few months.

My main concern about the house is my furniture too! They fade easily, but I can't find a way to make its color last longer. It ruins the whole interior, that's why I need to buy new ones. It's a waste of money. I hope you can post tips about keeping them clean. Thank you!

Seems like everyone has a problem with keeping the furniture new! But look at the bright side, when they fade and get old easily, you have an excuse to tell your husband when he asks why you're buying designer furniture! True story!

Well, I myself is doing a major house keeping. Our carpets will be removed to be cleaned as well as our air conditioners. It really feels great to live in a house that's clean and fragrant.

My problem at home used to be the basement. It’s spacious but I didn’t have time to clean it all by myself, so we just had it converted into a lounge. So everyone who uses it will be obliged to clean too!
